Creators are verified users who build group chats on Vama and are eligible to receive tips or super chat payments.

Creators can offer subscriptions, paid super chats, and tips to support their creativity and vision.

Post about your group chat on your socials, keep a link in your bio, and message your fans! You should include a brief description of what your community could get from subbing to you, like access to your private thoughts, a glimpse of your personal life, behind-the-scenes photos and videos, and/or ability to message you! After that, drop us a note at info @ vama.com and ask nicely for us to verify you as a creator.

Anyone can open a free Vama account that others can follow, but to have a paid Vama with premium features (subscriptions, tips, locked messages and super chats), you must complete your checkout set up in the creator portal. 

This will require inputting your bank information (so we can pay you) and your social security number or other identifying information based on your country (for legal compliance purposes).

It will be completely confidential and will not be accessible to anyone other than the appropriate legal entities. Your creator portal will be populated with features like your subscription price, welcome message, and more once you create your payout account.

Members of a group chat must pay in order to unlock and view locked messages. 

You can send a locked message to an individual subscriber or to all of your subscribers, and you can monetize any custom content you don't want to post on your private feed. 

Any text, photos, or videos in a locked message will be locked. Messages can be locked by clicking the lock icon, setting a price and description, and writing a message or uploading a photo.

Simply click the money icon at the bottom right of any creator group chat you are in, link your preferred payment method, and hit send. Members of the chat will see your super chat badge and you will receive the recognition you deserve from the group chat creator.

Vama is currently working with all major countries to receive money transfer service licenses. Although we are starting in Singapore and the USA. We expect to be in all major markets soon. 

Vama chats and group chats are private between participants. Any requests related to them will not be processed by us.

However, creator group chats, and public groups will be moderated to ensure safety when they are publicly available. Please contact our compliance team at legal@vama.com if you find something you think is potentially illegal or infringing. 

Additionally, you can use the 'report' button right inside our app. In the event that someone pretends to be you, please contact info@vama.com

In most cases, the card issuer declined the transaction for any reason (a "do not honor" or "generic decline"), which could be due to geographical safeguards for international payments or for any other reason. 

If this is the case, you need to contact your card issuer and inform them that you authorized the transaction. In the event the problem cannot be resolved with your card issuer, please email info@vama.com with the response from your card issuer and your Vama username.

To access and download a copy of your personal information:

• Sign into your account at Vama.com
• Click Settings
• Copy your personal user name
• Email legal@vama.com
• Send us your user name and we will provide you a download link.

If you would like to permanently delete your account and personal information from Vama:

• Tap the profile icon on your Vama home screen
• Select Support
• Send us a message with your phone number and we will delete your account and data.
